Mike Hammond Memorial Hockey Tournament – December 28th

Join us for the inaugural Mike Hammond Memorial Hockey Tournament on December 28th, a special event dedicated to raising awareness for Youth Community Programs &  Mental Health and honoring the legacy of a beloved hockey player and friend, Mike Hammond.

Mike’s passion for the game, his infectious enthusiasm, and his unwavering support for others have left a lasting impact on everyone he met. This tournament will not only celebrate his love for hockey but also provide an opportunity to come together as a community to support a cause that Mike held dear: helping youth through sports.

All proceeds from the tournament will go towards the Mike Hammond Bursary & Youth Community Programs , which will provide financial assistance for kids to participate in sports, helping them experience the benefits of teamwork, discipline, and personal growth that Mike cherished throughout his life.

Why Mental Health?
Mental health is an important issue, and Mike’s story is a reminder of the significance of supporting one another. This event serves as an opportunity to open the conversation about mental well-being, promote awareness, understanding, and support within our community.

• All proceeds go to the Mike Hammond Bursary for kids’ sports

We are looking for sponsors to help with raffle prizes and donations, we will provide tax receipts.

IBHA & BW are excited to bring this event/opportunity to our local community and we hope to continue to work with our youth fostering long term relationships that will allow them to participate in sports, but more importantly supporting them at the grassroot level.
